Yes, it is designed for both generations. Our staff has noted a slightly tighter fit on Gen4 frames compared to Gen5. This is not a functional issue—the slide cycles reliably—but you may feel a difference in the initial slide-to-frame fit.
What parts do I need to complete this slide?
You will need a complete upper parts kit for a Glock 43, including a barrel, recoil spring assembly, and all internal slide components (striker, extractor, etc.). The slide is machined to accept all standard OEM-spec parts.
Is the optic cut bare aluminum?
No. The entire slide, including the optic cut pocket, receives the Type III Hardcoat Anodized finish. This provides a durable, corrosion-resistant surface and ensures proper torque on mounting screws without damaging bare aluminum.
