FFL Dealer Information

FFL Dealer Information

Some products we sell are classified as firearms and must be shipped to a licensed Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer for transfer. Here is everything you need to know about the process.

What Is an FFL Transfer?

An FFL transfer is the process of shipping a serialized firearm to a licensed dealer who then performs the required background check and transfers the item to you. This is required by federal law for all firearms purchased online.

How the Process Works

1

Place Your Order

Purchase your item through our website like any other product.

2

Provide Your FFL

Email us your preferred FFL dealer’s information after checkout.

3

We Ship to Your FFL

We ship the item directly to your chosen FFL dealer.

4

Complete Transfer

Visit your FFL, complete paperwork, pass background check, take delivery.

What to Bring to Your FFL

  • Valid government-issued photo ID
  • Proof of residency (if different from ID address)
  • Any permits required by your state or municipality

Finding an FFL Near You

Most gun shops and sporting goods stores are licensed FFL dealers. You can also search the ATF’s FFL database or ask us for recommendations in your area. Transfer fees at the FFL are your responsibility and typically range from $15 to $50.
