Does this slide include sights or an optic cover plate?
No, this is a stripped slide assembly. It includes the slide body, a channel liner (pre-installed), and the necessary hardware (striker channel sleeve, striker sleeve, slide cover plate). You will need to source your own sights, optic, and barrel/recoil spring assembly to complete it.
Will this work with my Glock 43X MOS frame?
Yes. It is designed as a direct replacement for the factory slide on standard Glock 43, 43X, and 48 frames, including the MOS variants. The mounting system for the optic is on the slide itself, independent of the frame’s MOS rail system.
What is the finish, and how durable is it?
The slide is finished with a black nitride coating. This is a surface treatment that hardens the steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance and wear durability. It’s a common and reliable finish used on many firearm components.
