Our staff handles each animal for health checks prior to shipment. This gecko is acclimated to brief, careful handling but is primarily a display animal. We recommend minimal handling to reduce stress, especially during the initial acclimation period in its new enclosure.
How is the gecko shipped?
The gecko is shipped via overnight courier in a secure, insulated reptile shipping box with a heat or cold pack as needed for weather. Please note: while the animal and its internal cup are secure, we have found the external shipping box from this supplier to be less robust than preferred. The animal itself arrives in perfect condition.
What is the sex of the baby gecko?
At this juvenile size, sex is not reliably determinable. Gargoyle geckos typically show definitive male characteristics (hemipenal bulges) between 15-20 grams. This animal is sold as unsexed. If a specific sex is required for breeding projects, we recommend purchasing a confirmed sub-adult or adult.
