Will this fit my Gen 5 Glock?
No. This cover plate is specifically machined for the rear sight dovetail on Glock Gen 1 through Gen 4 models. The Gen 5 uses a different MOS system.
Does the installation require any permanent modification?
No permanent modification is needed. It is a direct replacement. You simply drift out your factory rear sight, remove the factory cover plate, and install this unit using the provided hardware.
How does the finish hold up to holster wear?
The hard coat anodization is very durable. While any finish can show wear with enough abrasion, this one is specifically chosen for its resistance. Our shop demo model shows minimal holster wear after months of daily handling.
