This is an adult, established animal, which is a significant advantage. However, Honduran Milksnakes can be fast and sometimes defensive. We recommend it for keepers with some prior experience handling snakes and maintaining proper enclosure humidity and temperature gradients.
What do you feed it, and how often?
We feed our adults one appropriately sized frozen/thawed mouse (roughly the same width as the snake’s midsection) every 7-10 days. Feeding frequency can decrease slightly during cooler periods. A consistent feeding response is a hallmark of this particular line.
