Live Animal Shipping Policy

Shipping Methods

All live animals ship via FedEx Priority Overnight or UPS Next Day Air. We do not offer standard ground shipping for live animals. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location.

Same-Day Shipping

Orders placed before 12:00 PM EST Monday through Wednesday ship the same day. Orders placed after this cutoff ship the following business day. We do not ship on Thursdays, Fridays, or weekends to ensure your animal does not sit in a facility over the weekend.

Weather Holds

Your animal safety is our top priority. We monitor weather conditions along all shipping routes and will delay shipments if temperatures drop below 35F or exceed 95F at any point during transit. You will be notified via email if a weather hold is placed on your order.

Packaging

All shipments use insulated shipping containers with temperature-appropriate heat packs (winter) or cold packs (summer). Animals are individually bagged and secured to prevent movement during transit. We use industry-grade reinforced insulated boxes specifically designed for live animal shipping.

Live Arrival Guarantee

We guarantee your animal arrives alive and in good health. In the unlikely event of a DOA (dead on arrival), contact us within 2 hours of delivery with clear photos of the animal in the unopened bag and the shipping box. We will issue a full refund or replacement at your choice. The live arrival guarantee is void if you are not present to accept the package at the time of delivery or if the package is left outdoors for an extended period.
