Will this plate fit a standard Glock 43?
No. The Glock 43X and 48 have a longer slide and use a different cover plate than the standard Glock 43. This part is specifically machined for the 43X/48 platform.
How is the finish applied and will it wear?
The pattern is applied using a multi-layer Cerakote process, baked for durability. It’s a wear-resistant ceramic coating. Our testing showed excellent resistance to common solvents, but like any finish, it can show holster wear over extended, heavy use.
Does this work with optics-cut slides?
This is a standard rear slide cover plate. It will not fit slides that have been milled for a Red Dot Sight (RDS) where the rear dovetail site or plate has been relocated. It is designed for factory-configured slides.
