Does this reduce the trigger pull weight?
No. The Motley Boa is a trigger shoe, not a connector or spring kit. It does not mechanically lighten the pull. The flat-face design and wider pad improve leverage and feel, which can subjectively make the pull feel smoother and more consistent.
Will this work with my aftermarket connector?
Yes. The Motley Boa is designed to work with OEM and most aftermarket connectors and springs. It replaces only the trigger shoe and bar, maintaining compatibility with the rest of your fire control group.
Why is the wider pad an advantage?
A wider trigger pad distributes finger pressure more evenly. This increases control, reduces finger fatigue during extended sessions, and helps promote a straight-back press. Our staff notes it pairs well with an extended slide release for faster, more efficient reloads.
