What size enclosure does a baby skink need?
Start with a 40-gallon breeder tank for a juvenile. An adult will require a minimum enclosure of 4’x2’x2′ (120 gallons). Provide a secure lid, a basking area, UVB lighting, and appropriate humidity hides.
How is the temperament for handling?
Northern Blue Tongues are known for their calm disposition. This captive-bred baby is already accustomed to human presence. With gentle, consistent handling, it will become a very tractable pet. Allow a 7-10 day acclimation period with minimal handling upon arrival.
What do you feed them?
