Your Questions Answered
What does “100% het. Scaleless” mean?
This snake carries one copy of the recessive Scaleless gene. When bred to another snake carrying the Scaleless gene (either visual or 100% het), it has a statistical chance of producing visual Scaleless offspring. It is a guaranteed carrier.
How is the snake shipped?
We ship via FedEx Priority Overnight in a secure, insulated container with a heat or cool pack as needed for safe transit. Our staff notes the internal animal packaging is secure, but the outer cardboard box is standard and functional. We use plain brown boxes with no external markings indicating live contents.
What setup do you recommend?
A 10-20 gallon enclosure is suitable for a juvenile. Provide a secure hide, a water bowl, and appropriate substrate like aspen shavings. Maintain an ambient temperature of 75-80°F with a basking spot of 85-88°F. A thermostat is required for any heat source.
