How permanent is the installation?
The 3M adhesive is designed for a permanent bond. Proper application on a clean, degreased surface results in a grip that will not peel or shift. Removal typically requires heat and careful scraping, and may leave residue.
Will this alter my holster fit?
Due to its ultra-thin 0.5mm profile, the Silverback tape should not affect fit in most rigid kydex or polymer holsters. We recommend testing fit after application, though interference with tight leather holsters is possible.
Is the texture too aggressive for everyday carry?
The texture is designed for positive control, not comfort against bare skin. For IWB carry, it is recommended to have an undershirt or garment between the grip and your skin to prevent irritation during all-day wear.
