Description
The Pewter Ghost Ball Python is a precision-machined aluminum slide cover plate designed for Glock 43X/48 MOS models. It replaces the factory polymer plate, providing a solid mounting surface for micro red dot optics. Since we added it to our inventory in early 2026, it has consistently been a top seller for shooters who prioritize clean aesthetics and reliable optic mounting. The matte pewter finish offers a subtle, professional look that complements both factory and custom frames.
Stand-Out Features
- Direct Optic Mounting: Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, it provides a rigid, zero-flex platform for your micro red dot, eliminating the potential for point-of-impact shift.
- Confirmed Compatibility: Our staff has verified fitment with popular optic brands including Trijicon RMRcc and AmeriGlo Haven, ensuring a secure lock-up with no modification needed.
- Low-Profile Design: Sits flush with the slide contours, maintaining the pistol’s original lines and preventing snagging during holster presentation.
- Enhanced Sighting Options: The plate is designed to work seamlessly with both the factory iron sights and a wide range of aftermarket suppressor-height sights for a co-witness setup.
- Durable Finish: The Type III hardcoat anodized pewter finish is highly resistant to holster wear and corrosion.

Your Questions Answered
Will this plate fit my Glock 43X MOS with an RMRcc?
Yes. We have physically mounted a Trijicon RMRcc to this plate on a Glock 43X MOS slide in our shop. It uses the RMSc footprint, which is compatible with the RMRcc when using the appropriate Trijicon sealing plate. The provided torque specs for the optic screws should be followed.
Do I need to buy different screws to mount my optic?
Typically, no. The plate is designed to use the factory-provided screws that come with your micro red dot optic. The plate’s threading is cut to match common optic screw specifications. If your optic uses proprietary screws, you should use those.
Does the finish match the factory Glock slide?
The pewter anodizing is a close, but not exact, match to the factory Glock “nPVD” finish. It is slightly darker and has a more matte, non-reflective texture. The result is a cohesive, two-tone look that many shooters prefer over a perfect match.
