What does “Het Clown” mean?
This ball python carries one copy of the recessive Clown gene. It will not show the visual Clown pattern itself, but when bred to another Het or visual Clown, it can produce visual Clown offspring. It’s a breeding project animal.
Is it feeding reliably?
Yes. This animal is on a regular schedule with frozen/thawed weaned rats. We have a detailed feeding record available. It has a strong feeding response and is an excellent candidate for a breeding program.
What is the temperament like?
Typical of the species. It is manageable and will ball up when stressed. With regular, calm handling, it settles well. It’s a healthy, normal-acting ball python, not a display animal for its pattern.
