No. In our testing across multiple generations of Glock 19 frames, this slide has been a true drop-in component. It uses the factory recoil spring assembly and barrel.
What optics will mount directly to the slide?
The slide is machined for the Trijicon RMR and Holosun 407C/507C/508T footprint. Plates are available for other optics like the Holosun EPS.
Is the finish durable?
Yes. The Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) coating is significantly harder than traditional finishes like Cerakote, offering excellent resistance to holster wear and corrosion.
