Description
This Citrus Tiger Hypo Leatherback Bearded Dragon Baby is a high-color, docile reptile bred for enthusiasts seeking a standout pet. The hypo gene reduces dark pigment, allowing the vibrant citrus and tiger patterns to shine, while the leatherback trait creates a smoother scale texture. It’s an excellent choice for both new and experienced keepers wanting a handleable dragon with exceptional visual appeal. Since arriving on our shelves in spring 2025, customer feedback has been consistently positive, with a very low return rate.

Your Questions Answered
How is the color on this morph?
The Citrus Tiger Hypo Leatherback combines several genes for intense color. The “citrus” refers to bright yellow and orange base colors. “Tiger” describes the dark, often broken, horizontal banding. The hypo gene minimizes dark melanin, making these colors pop. The leatherback trait doesn’t affect color but gives a smoother back texture. Colors will develop and intensify with age.
What setup do I need for a baby bearded dragon?
You’ll need a 20-gallon tank or larger for a baby, with a basking zone reaching 100-110°F and a cool side around 80°F. A high-quality UVB light strip is non-negotiable for calcium metabolism. Substrate can be paper towel, reptile carpet, or tile for babies. Provide hiding spots and branches for climbing. We can provide a full care sheet upon request.
How do you ship live animals?
