What ammunition works best with this suppressor?
Based on extensive firing, it runs flawlessly with 115gr and 124gr FMJ rounds. We experienced one hiccup with a specific brand of 147gr subsonic ammunition during testing, so we recommend testing your preferred subsonic loads for function.
Is this suppressor compatible with my pistol?
It uses standard 1/2×28 threads. If your 9mm pistol barrel has those threads, it will mount directly. For pistols with different threads or non-threaded barrels, you will need the appropriate adapter or a replacement threaded barrel.
How do I clean it?
The Chameleon Female is fully user-serviceable. The core assembly can be disassembled by hand for thorough cleaning of baffles and the tube interior. We recommend ultrasonic cleaning for the baffles.
