How will her colors develop?
The blue barring is largely set, but the sunrise hues (oranges, reds, yellows) will continue to deepen and become more saturated through her next few sheds. Proper UVB lighting and nutrition are critical for color expression.
Is she ready to breed?
While sexually mature, we do not recommend immediate breeding. She should be allowed to acclimate to her new home for several months and reach optimal body condition first. Breeding requires significant research and resources.
What setup do you recommend?
A 40-gallon breeder is the minimum for a young adult. Upgrade to a 4’x2’x2′ enclosure within a year. Essentials are a basking spot of 100-110°F, a T5 HO 10.0 or 12% UVB tube, and a cool side around 80°F.
