Description
The Albino Jungle Colombian Boa Baby is a high-contrast, captive-bred morph for the intermediate to advanced keeper looking for a stunning display animal with classic boa temperament. This combination of the Albino and Jungle genes produces vibrant yellows and clean white patterning that intensifies with age. Since we added it to our collection in January 2026, it has consistently been a top performer in our boa category.
Stand-Out Features
- Vibrant Coloration: Displays bright yellow saddles against a clean, light background. The albinism removes black pigment, allowing the Jungle gene’s pattern influence to shine.
- Proven Genetics: This is a double heterozygous (DH) animal for Albino and Jungle, guaranteeing both traits are visually expressed.
- Captive-Bred & Feeding: Hatched here in the US and established on frozen/thawed rodents. Comes with feeding records.
- Manageable Adult Size: As a Colombian locality boa, it will reach a manageable 6-8 feet as an adult, suitable for experienced keepers with appropriate enclosures.
- Classic Boa Disposition: Known for a generally calm and tractable nature when handled regularly, a hallmark of well-started Colombian boas.

Your Questions Answered
What is the difference between “Jungle” and a normal pattern?
The Jungle gene influences pattern, often creating aberrant saddles, connecting patterns, and reduced side spotting. Combined with Albino, it creates a high-contrast, clean look that becomes more impressive as the snake grows.
What setup does this baby boa need?
A secure 20-30 gallon enclosure with a thermal gradient (88-90°F warm side, 78-80°F cool side), humidity around 60-70%, and multiple snug hides. Upgrade enclosure size as the animal grows. We recommend a PVC cage or modified glass tank for consistent heat and humidity.
How does its care compare to a normal Colombian boa?
Care is identical. The Albino and Jungle genes are cosmetic and do not affect husbandry requirements, hardiness, or temperament. Protect albino animals from excessively bright lighting, as with any albino reptile.
