Your Questions Answered

Is this snake handleable?

Yes. Albino Hondurans are typically docile and tolerate handling well once acclimated. Allow a week to settle in after arrival before attempting to handle. Support its body fully and move calmly.

What setup do you recommend?

A secure enclosure with a thermal gradient is essential. Provide a humid hide for shedding, a warm basking area, and plenty of snug hiding spots. Aspen or coconut husk bedding works well. Maintain humidity around 50-60%.

How often should I feed it?

Feed an appropriately sized frozen/thawed rodent every 7-10 days for a juvenile/sub-adult. Adjust prey size to be slightly wider than the snake’s midsection. Adult snakes may eat every 10-14 days.
