Your Questions Answered
Does this slide come with an optic cut?
No, this slide does not include a pre-milled optic cut. It is designed with a flat, serrated top and a wide rear sight channel specifically to make it an ideal candidate for aftermarket milling to your preferred optic footprint. The slide’s profile provides ample material for a secure mount.
Will this work with my aftermarket barrel?
In our testing, this slide has shown excellent compatibility with most quality aftermarket barrels designed for the Gen 3 platform. As with any component, we recommend checking headspace and function with your specific barrel and ammunition before regular use.
Is the finish durable?
Yes. The slide is finished with a nitride treatment, which is a case-hardening process that penetrates the steel. This results in a very hard, corrosion-resistant, and low-glare surface that is more durable than many applied coatings like PVD or Cerakote.
